About us

about us

Blazing onto the scene in 2018, TRIONGL has fast become one of Wales’ most exciting and influential drama producers. Known for bold, award-winning storytelling, TRIONGL creates film and television in English, Welsh, and bilingually — pushing boundaries and connecting with audiences far beyond Wales.

Their shows don’t just punch above their weight — they lead the pack. The Light in the Hall starring Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon and Alexandra Roach, of Lazarus and Nightsleeper, was Channel 4’s most-watched drama of 2023, and TRIONGL’s content continues to travel globally, connecting with audiences far beyond Wales. Recent series have starred some of the UK’s top talent, including BAFTA winners Joanna Scanlan and Mark Lewis Jones, alongside Broadchurch favourite Matthew Gravelle and Tom Rhys Harries, who was recently cast in the lead for DC Studios newest film, Clayface.

But TRIONGL isn’t stopping at screen success. They're also making waves in the tech world. Their innovative production management platform, SGRIPT, built specifically for multi-lingual and non-English language productions, enters BETA testing in early 2026, with a full launch targeted for 2027.

Our mission is simple: to take Wales to the world — through powerful storytelling and smart, scalable tech.

Music

In 2019, TRIONGL partnered with South Wind Blows and Theatr Mwldan to bring Ireland’s acclaimed Other Voicesmusic festival to Cardigan — its first edition outside Ireland. After a pandemic-era edition in Cardiff (2021), the festival returned to Cardigan and grew year on year, with the BBC taking over UK broadcast from 2024.

Innovation

Since 2020, TRIONGL’s innovation arm has been developing digital tools that address inclusivity, sustainability, wellbeing, and production efficiencies — especially in bilingual content creation. This work led to the development of SGRIPT, a bespoke platform to transform how multi-lingual productions are managed.

At our core, we are proudly bilingual. Language and culture are woven into everything we do — from the stories we tell to the tools we build. We’re here to take Wales to the world.
