Angharad lives at the foothills of the Eryri National Park in north Wales and writes for TV, film and theatre in both Welsh and English.
She has three original drama series in development – I HEART YOU with Triongl (S4C), THE NIGHT THEY VANISHED with BBC Studios (C4/S4C); and THE BULLY (Adorable Media/C5) as well as theatre plays for Theatr Cymru and Frân Wen. In 2024 she wrote episode 5 of Y GOLAU: DŴR / THE LIGHT IN THE HALL: STILL WATERS (S4C/C4). She created the drama series STAD (S4C), co-storylining and scripting four episodes. She subsequently storylined STAD 2 which will air on S4C in autumn 2025. In 2018 she co-wrote the Welsh language scenes in the ‘Tywysog Cymru’ episode of THE CROWN (Leftbank/Netflix) and was Associate Producer on William McGregor’s debut feature film, Gwen (Endor/BFI) starring Maxine Peake. A pre-school live action series that she created – DEIAN A LOLI (S4C) – has been in production for 10 years running and has been sold internationally, generating a theatrical spin-off and a book series.
She was one of the BBC Writersroom Pilot scheme participants in 2023 and is an EAVE Producers’ Workshop graduate. Her drama and documentary productions have won her a Broadcast Award, a New York Film and Television award as well as numerous Bafta Wales and Celtic Media Festival awards.
