Nora Ostler Spiteri
Co-Creative Director – Innovation & Drama
Since co-founding TRIONGL in 2018, Nora has helped shape the company into one of Wales’ most dynamic and respected production companies. She has executive produced The Light in the Hall / Y Golau — Channel 4’s most-watched drama of 2023 — along with two hit series of Stad for S4C and the critically acclaimed music series Other Voices / Lleisiau Eraill.
Nora produced TRIONGL’s debut drama Pili Pala (Butterfly Breath) in 2019, which received critical acclaim and became the first Welsh-language drama series picked up for global distribution by All3Media International.
She currently oversees TRIONGL’s bold and diverse development slate, spanning drama, film, music, and innovation.
Prior to TRIONGL, Nora was a producer on Keeping Faith / Un Bore Mercher (Vox Pictures), winner of BAFTA Cymru and Celtic Media Festival awards. She also spent a decade at Fiction Factory, producing standout dramas including the international hit Hinterland / Y Gwyll, sold to over 100 territories including Netflix US.
Between 2011–2015, she produced 55 episodes of S4C’s long-running series Gwaith/Cartref, and more recently, executive produced Yassa Khan’s short film Pink and Dŵr / Still Waters — the next chapter of The Light in the Hall for Channel 4, S4C, and AMC+.
Nora is passionate about building a more human-centred and sustainable screen industry. That commitment led to TRIONGL’s first R&D project exploring working practices in tv production — a deep dive that ultimately sparked the launch of the company’s innovation arm.
