Sophie Warren

Development Assistant

After working as a trainee script editor on Bafta winning and Emmy nominated series ‘Lost Boys and Fairies’ and Channel 4’s Dreamers’, Sophie spent 6 months as Development assistant for Duck Soup Cardiff, before joining Triongl in 2023. After winning ‘Best Screenplay’ for her ‘It’s My Shout!’ short film as a writer, she has worked as Script Editor and Mentor for the English Language slate of films with them since 2023. She has a Master’s Degree in Screenwriting and is a Welsh learner.

Since joining Triongl as Development Assistant, she has looked after and helped shape many projects on their ever-growing development slate. She has production managed 3 years of content for S4C and BBC Wales’ ‘Other Voices/Lleisiau Eraill’ highlights shows. Most recently, she script edited and Assistant Produced ‘Beyond’, a short film for BBC Three to be released in 2026.
